Even if you have a garage or a shed to store your outdoor tools in, it seems that the clutter magically propogates until it’s spilling out the doors. If you could find a way to corral it elsewhere, you can free up space for a workshop area, or for stuff that should be stored there, such as bikes, power tools or even your car!
Here are a couple alternate storage ideas to get some of the worst offenders out of your prime storage and workshop space.
While you can hang garden tools on the walls of your shed, they take up a lot of valuable real estate. And standing them in the corner is even worse. Why not add to your shed or garage storage with an outside tool hutch? This keeps your tools protected, but outdoors where they’re more easily accessible. You also keep garden sprays and herbicides away from enclosed areas you spend time in.
A push lawnmower is an awkward thing to store; it can eat up a good quarter of an 8’x 12′ shed. Why not build it its own small garage?
